The owner of Nunn Bush Shoes and the boss of Clovis Galletta. Gage was an anti-Semite, he openly expressed his hatred for Jews and developed an intense and hostile enmity with jewelry store owner and Jew, Edgar Kalou. Furthermore, Gage was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, he used his position to reject all of Kalou's business propositions to effectively slander and ruin his business.

One afternoon, Gage caught Galletta browsing through Hartfield's Jewelry Store and discovered that she brought a set of pearl earrings there. Gage was enraged by this, telling Galletta to return to work and proceeded to insult Kalou and his store, calling his items "nickel plated" and "made in Japan". Gage walked Galletta back to the shoe store, taking her installment voucher for the earrings. However, Gage had finally pushed Kalou too far. Kalou followed Gage and Galletta back to the store and Gage was shot five times in the back in broad daylight. He fell to the ground and died instantly.

어느 날 오후, Gage는 Galletta가 Hartfield's Jewelry Store에서 진주 귀걸이 세트를 사는 걸 발견하게 된다. Gage는 화가 나서 Galletta에게 일하러 돌아가라 하고, 더 나아가 Kalou의 제품들이 "니켈 도금된 것"이자 "일본산"이라고 비난한다. 이후 Gage는 Galletta에게 돌아가서 그녀에게 귀걸이 영수증을 받아낸다. 그러나 Gage는 지나치게 Kalou를 몰아붙였다. Gage was dead before the LAPD or an ambulance could arrived, nonetheless his murder was investigated by Officers Cole Phelps and Ralph Dunn. Phelps discovered that Kalou was responsible and was able to obtain strong evidence and confession to charge him for Gage's murder.

Galletta worked as a shoe store clerk at Nunn Bush Shoes store, her boss was Everett Gage. Galletta brought herself an expensive set of pearl earrings from Hartfield's Jewelry Store, owned by Edgar Kalou, though she payed by installments over the year through the Bank of Arcadia.

While browsing through Kalou's jewelry store during a lunch break, Gage found her and yelled at her to leave the store and return to work. Gage revealed his anti-Semitic attitude and his intense enmity for Kalou, as Gage cursed Kalou and slandered his store, stating that his products were "nickel plated" and "made in Japan". While walking back to the shoe store, Gage took Galletta's installment voucher, angered that she had shopped at Hartfield's. Kalou followed Gage and Galletta back from his store, and fired five shots into Gage's back, killing him. Galletta witnessed the shooting and returned to the shoe store, in complete shock from what had happened.

그 녀가 점심시간에 Kalou의 보석가게를 둘러보는 걸 발견한 Gage는 그녀에게 소리지르며 일터로 돌아가라 하고, 또한 Kalou에게도 반유대주의적인 폭언을 퍼부으며 "니켈 도금된 짝퉁"이니 "일본산"이라며 비난한다. 구두가게로 돌아오는 동안 Gage는 Galletta의 할부 영수증을 빼앗고, 그녀가 거기서 물건을 샀다며 꾸짖는다. 한편 Kalou는 Gage와 Galletta의 뒤를 쫓고, Gage의 등을 다섯 번이나 쏴버린다. Galletta는 그 장면을 목격한 뒤 구두가게로 돌아오고, 본 것에 대해 완전히 충격을 받는다.

Events of L.A. Noire-L.A. Noire에서의 사건들

As the LAPD came to investigate, Officer Cole Phelps entered the store to obtain Galletta's eyewitness testimony. Phelps realized that Galletta was being reluctant to tell the truth, thus gave her a stern warning to stop obstructing a murder investigation. Galletta revealed that she did not want to lose her pearl earrings to the investigation. After some coercing, Galletta revealed that Kalou was responsible for the murder, as well as Gage's intense hatred for Kalou due to his Jewish heritage. After Cole finished the interview, she asked one last time about the pearl earrings but changed her mind and disregarded them, instead agreed to testify against Kalou in court.

LAPD가 조사를 시작한 후, Cole Phelps는 Galletta의 증언을 얻기 위해 가게 안으로 들어간다. 그러나 Galletta가 진실을 털어놓으려 하지 않자 살인사건 조사를 방해하지 말라며 경고한다. Galletta는 조사 중에 진주 귀걸이를 잃고 싶지 않다고 털어놓는다. 몇 번의 강요 끝에, Galletta는 Kalou가 살인사건에 책임이 있으며, 그가 유대인 출신이라고 Gage가 극렬하게 비난했다는 것도 털어놓는다. 조사를 끝낸 후에 그녀는 마지막으로 한 번 더 진주 귀걸이 대해 묻지만, 마음을 바꾸고 Kalou를 법정에 세우는 데 동의하기로 한다.
