Kate McReary

 

Kate McReary (born 1980) is a potential love interest of Grand Theft Auto IV protagonist Niko Bellic. She is the sister of Patrick, Francis, Gerald and Derrick McReary, and the daughter and youngest child of Maureen and Mr. McReary. At first, Packie tells Niko to stay away from her, but later encourages Niko to go out with Kate. She holds traditional values, and according to Patrick, "she won't put out". Despite this, you are still given the option to try and join Kate inside.

According to Patrick, Kate witnessed several bloody fights between her brothers; seeing Gerry beating Francis was a traumatic childhood experience for her. Over time she has apparently become accustomed to living close to violent crime, liking Niko despite disapproving of his lifestyle. She plays a pivotal role at the end of GTA IV's story.

Endings-이야기의 끝

 

Depending on the players choice of ending, Kate can die in the mission Mr and Mrs Bellic. If the player chooses "Deal", Kate goes on to live, whereas if you choose "Revenge", she meets her end at the hands of Jimmy Pegorino at Roman's wedding.

플레이어의 엔딩 파트 선택에 따라, Kate는 "Mr. and Mrs. Bellic" 미션에서 죽을 수 있다. 만약에 플레이어가 "거래"를 선택한다면 Kate가 살지만 "복수"를 선택할 경우 그녀는 Roman의 결혼식장에서 Jimmy Pegorino의 손에 죽고 만다.

 

If the "Deal" option is chosen, Kate berates Niko for doing the deal, and does not attend the wedding. After Niko kills Dimitri to avenge Roman, Kate calls him, telling him that she heard of his cousin's death, and will be there for him

만약 "거래" 파트를 선택할 경우 Kate는 Niko가 거래를 한 일을 두고 매우 화를 내며 결혼식에 참여하지 않는다. Niko가 Roman의 복수를 위해 Dimitri를 죽인 후에 Kate는 Niko에게 전화하여 사촌의 죽음을 들었고 Roman을 위해 장례식에 갈 거라고 한다.

 

Trivia-기타 등등

 

Kate has never committed a crime or misdemeanor. This is confirmed from main missions & dating side missions dialogue, as well as not having a record in the LCPD Database.
Kate는 범죄나 비행에 전혀 관련되지 않았다. 이는 메인 미션&데이트 미션 대본에서 확인할 수 있으며, 또한 LCPD 기록에 그녀가 없다는 것으로도 확인할 수 있다.

 

If the "Revenge" option is chosen, Kate dies at Roman's wedding. However, there is a glitch where she may still call Niko from time to time as Unknown Caller to make a date. As her contact is deleted from the phonebook, she cannot be called back.
만약 "복수" 파트를 선택할 경우 Kate가 Roman의 결혼식장에서 죽는다. 그러나 그녀가 'Unknown Caller-모르는 번호'로 종종 Niko에게 데이트 신청을 하는 오류가 있다. 그녀와의 연결점(전화번호?)이 지워지면 그녀는 더 이상 전화하지 않는다.

 

If the "Deal" option is chosen, she still cannot be dated again even though she is alive, implying that she broke up with Niko.

만약 "거래" 파트를 선택할 경우 그녀가 살아 있음에도 데이트를 더 이상 하지 않으며 Niko와 관계를 끊은 것처럼 보인다.

Kate is the youngest of the McReary Family.

그녀는 McReary 가족 중에서 가장 어리다.

Kate works in a Community Centre in Dukes.
