Maria Latore (also referred to as Maria La Torra by several sources) is Don Salvatore Leone's girlfriend (it's revealed that she's actually his wife in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories).

She is introduced to Claude after Salvatore requests that Claude "look after her for the evening".

Developing a liking for Claude, she saves Claude's life by preventing Claude from entering a death trap set up by Salvatore (before telling him they were both an item) and seeks help from an associate, Asuka Kasen, to flee to Staunton Island.

She is a caller on Chatterbox FM, describing her feelings for Claude, but expresses doubt because Claude was seen as being uninterested to her, "always working and hanging out with the guys".

Maria's fate remains unknown, however, when the screen portraying Claude and Maria walking away fades to black Maria is heard, until a gunshot is heard.

마리아의 운명은 불명으로 남았지만, 클라우드와 마리아가 걸어가면서 스크린이 어두워진 후

마리아가 말한 뒤에 총소리가 들린다.

 

It is unknown whether the gunshot was meant to kill Maria due to her constant nagging while the credits rolled through, or to scare her into being quiet.

만든 사람들 명단이 올라갈 때 그 총소리가 그녀의 잔소리 때문에 마리아를 죽인 것인지, 아니면

그녀를 겁줘서 조용하게 했는지는 불명이다.

 

Maria has an interest in leopard skin furniture (evidenced from her Chatterbox phone call), and also sports an outfit with tiger stripe patterns.

스포츠용 복장에 관심을 가진다.

 

She is later seen in clothing of a similar fashion in Liberty City Stories.

그녀는 비슷한 패션으로 나중에 LCS에 등장한다.

 

Maria was voiced by Debi Mazar.
